Has your creative side prompted you to wade into the shallow waters known as an at-home business?
There are individuals right here in the Roanoke-Chowan area whose creative hands and minds has led to a second job. They love making things from scratch…whether it’s a piece of furniture, picture frames, wood crafts, homemade soap or natural cosmetics, hand-crafted jewelry, hand-sewn pillows or bed quilts, homemade goodies such as cakes/cookies and other palate-pleasing pastries/desserts, tote bags, ceramics, and even artistic drawings or paintings….the list goes on and on.
If you fall within that listing, we want to hear from you.
Roanoke-Chowan Publications will publish its annual Crossroads edition in February. This year’s theme is “Made in the Roanoke-Chowan. We want to interview local citizens about their handiwork. There is no cost to promote these made-at-home products.
Please contact Cal Bryant at cal.bryant@r-cnews.com or call 252-332-7207 no later than Jan. 28 so we can schedule an interview.
