AHOSKIE – Tryouts for the Ahoskie Post 102 Junior Legion team will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 18 at the Hertford County High School baseball field.

The tryouts are open to players between the ages of 14-17. Players must turn 14 this calendar year and can’t turn 18.

If it is raining on March 18, there will be a meeting in the Hertford County High School gym.

New players please bring a copy of your birth certificate, learners permit or driver’s license.

If you plan on playing this season and can’t make tryouts, contact Coach Ellis at 252-209-1103.

Ellis said that due to a lack of 17-19 year-old players interested in Legion baseball, it doesn’t appear that Post 102 will field a Senior team this season. If you have any questions or need information of where to play Senior Legion baseball, please contact Coach Ellis.
