AHOSKIE – Oshane Ximines, a Hertford County High School graduate currently on the roster of the NFL’s New York Giants, will be coming home on April 29 to lend a helping hand in a local event.

On that date, the Town of Ahoskie will conduct a Community Food Giveaway as part the “Hertford County United: Stop the Violence” program.

The event – which will include free food, games, and other giveaways – will be held from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 29 at recreational field located adjacent to the Town of Ahoskie gym on West Main Street.

The food giveaway is through a grant from Walmart.
