AULANDER – An Aulander man was tragically killed when struck early Saturday morning while walking on NC 305.

A post on the Bertie Sheriff’s Office Facebook page identified the victim as 28-year-old Emmanuel Foreman. He was approximately 1.5 miles east of Aulander when struck by an unknown vehicle that was reportedly traveling eastbound.
