WINTON – The Roanoke-Chowan Wildlife Club will host its annual Hunt/Fish Day from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16.

The club is located at 126 Hares Mill Road, off River Road near Winton.

Admission and activities will be free for young people ages 15-and-under. Those activities include fishing (cane poles and worms will be provided), trap shooting, .22 rifle shooting, and archery.

Hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and soft drinks will be offered for sale. Those ages 15-and-under can eat for free.

The event will also include several exhibitors, to include wildlife displays.
