MURFREESBORO – The Chowan Athletic Department is celebrating military members and first responders at Saturday’s (Sept. 30) home football game vs. Valdosta State.

Kickoff is at 1 p.m. Hertford County High School’s JROTC will be presenting colors prior to the kick off.

All retired and active members of the Armed Forces as well as all first responders with a valid ID will receive free admission to the game.

During halftime, Chowan will recognize those military and first responders in attendance. Chowan will also have giveaways and more during the contest.

Chowan women’s soccer and volleyball will also be in action at home on Saturday. Admission is free for those contests as well.
