AHOSKIE – Kaysen Devontae Tyler was the first baby born in 2024 at ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital.
Kaysen was delivered at 1:05 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 2 and weighed in at 6 pounds, 14 ounces.
The parents, Talice Sutton (mother) and Kavarious Tyler (father), were all smiles and proudly accepted the first baby of the new year basket, a long-standing tradition at ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital.
