AHOSKIE – Roanoke Cooperative announces the recent addition of Heather Kinder to its leadership team as the Vice President of Accounting and Finance.

In this role, Kinder will steer the financial operations of the electric cooperative while actively collaborating with the leadership of the broadband subsidiary, Fybe.

She brings a wealth of experience, over 20 years, across various industries and organizations. With her extensive expertise, Kinder ensures Roanoke Cooperative’s continued focus on innovation for its member-owners.

A native of New Jersey, Kinder holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance from Georgian Court University, and a BSBA in Accounting from Thomas Edison State.

Kinder says she has been happily married to her husband Gene for over 22 years and is a proud parent to three children: Ashleigh, Lisl, and Alexander.

In addition to her corporate accomplishments, she co-owns Every Bloomin’ Thing in Forked River, NJ, an example of her entrepreneurial spirit and achievements in accounting and finance.
