COLERAIN – Charlotte White Robertson, born June 16, 1939, in Bertie County, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2024, at the age of 85, at ECU Health Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

A dedicated homemaker, Charlotte embraced her role with grace and devotion. Her faith played a pivotal role in her life; she was a committed Christian who read her Bible and devotional every day without fail. Her love for the Lord was paramount, followed closely by her unwavering love for her family, especially her grandchildren.

Charlotte had a nightly skin routine that kept her skin beautiful throughout the years, a testament to her self-care and attention to detail. A culinary artist at heart, Charlotte loved to cook and was celebrated for her exceptional skills in the kitchen. Her creamed potatoes were legendary, earning the affection and appreciation of all her grandchildren.

She was a devoted member of Mars Hill Baptist Church, where she not only worshipped but also formed many lasting friendships. Charlotte White Robertson was a beacon of faith, family, and love. She will be dearly missed and forever cherished.

Preceded in death by her husband, Milton Truett Robertson; her father, Chesley White; her mother, Josie Belle Evans White; and her brother, Martin White. Charlotte’s legacy of love and care continues through her surviving family and friends.

She is survived by her two sons, Greg Robertson of Colerain, and Truett Robertson of Ahoskie; her two granddaughters, Holly Robertson of Greenville, and Hayley Larabee and her husband Dr. Landon Larabee of Chapel Hill; her two grandsons, Sam Robertson of Colerain, and Trace Robertson of Virginia Beach, VA; her two sisters, Anna Graves of Greenville, and Marion Early and her husband David of Windsor.

A celebration of Charlotte’s life will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Mars Hill Baptist Church in Colerain, NC, with Rev. Al Hughson officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the fellowship hall. Charlotte will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Gardens.
