NORFOLK, VA – Suzanne Lea Cobb, 63, of Norfolk, VA. died June 25, 2024, at her home. Suzanne was born January 19, 1961, to the late Rendol Baker Cobb and Bobbie Miller Cobb.  Suzanne was a kind, loving, and giving person. She worked as a burn trauma nurse and in the brain injury unit at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for many years, she loved being an advocate for her patients. Suzanne’s “Happy Place” was on the Chowan River with Frannie, Walker, family and friends. She was a great water skier, enjoyed kayaking, golfing and riding around in her golf cart. Watching the Duke Blue Devils and Coach K take the court always brought a big smile to her face. Suzanne was the first girl to play on the boys’ little league baseball team of Windsor.

A visitation will be held, Friday, July 5, 2024, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home in Windsor. The memorial service will be Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 11 a.m. in the Walker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stafford Beasley officiating. Casual dress requested.

Survivors include her life partner, Frances Coffin of Virginia Beach; son, Walker (her dog); cousins, Becky H. Perry (Larry), Beth Riddick, Barbara Morris, Sheryl Corbitt (Terry), Debbie Farless and many second cousins; nieces, Julie Perry and Jamie Harper; nephew, Kevin Morris; half-sister, Lou Miller (Eddie); and half-brother, Andy Walker (Tammie).
