Ahoskie to host Tar Heel District 7 Baseball tourney

AHOSKIE – The 2024 Tar Heel District 7 Baseball Tournament opens this weekend at the Ahoskie Creek ballparks and the baseball field at Hertford County High School.

The tournament is double elimination.

The following games will be played on Saturday, July 6 at the Ahoskie Creek ballparks:

8U

10 am – Cashie vs. Edenton-Chowan

11:15 am – Elizabeth City vs. Camden

12:45 pm – Perquimans vs. Pocosin

2 pm – OBX vs. Dare County

3:30 pm – Ahoskie vs. Cashie/Edenton-Chowan winner

4:45 pm – Currituck County vs. Elizabeth City/Camden winner

6:15 pm – Tyrrell County vs. Perquimans/Pocosin winner

 

10U

10 am – Tyrrell County vs. Perquimans

12 noon – Elizabeth City vs. Gates

2:30 pm – OBX vs. Cape Hatteras

4:30 pm – Camden vs. Ahoskie

7 pm – Cashie vs. Dare County

 

12U

10 am – Edenton-Chowan vs. Camden

12 noon – Cashie vs. Perquimans

2:30 pm – Dare County vs. Currituck

5 pm – Ahoskie vs. OBX

 

The following games will be played on Saturday, July 6 at the Hertford County High School baseball field:

15U

10 am – Gates vs. Currituck

12:30 pm – Tyrrell County vs. Edenton

3 pm – Camden vs. Ahoskie

5:30 pm – Pocosin vs. Cashie

Tournament action continues on Sunday and into next week.

The Ahoskie Creek ballparks are located on West Memorial Drive. Follow the signs for parking.

Concessions will be offered for purchase throughout the tournament.
