Tar Heel District 7 Baseball Tournament continues

AHOSKIE – The 2024 Tar Heel District 7 Baseball Tournament continues this week at the Ahoskie Creek ballparks and the baseball field at Hertford County High School.

The tournament is double elimination.

Scores from Wednesday’s (July 10) games are as follows:

8U

Elizabeth City 13, OBX 10 (Elizabeth City wins District championship)

10U

Pocosin 11, Gates 10

Cape Hatteras 10 Currituck 9

12U

Currituck 13, Cashie 8 (completion of suspended game)

Cashie 10, Camden 3

Currituck 7, OBX 5

15U

Edenton 12, Pocosin 2

Cashie 16, Camden 4

Today’s (Tuesday, July 9) games are as follows (weather permitting):

10U

5:30 pm Perquimans vs. Edenton

7:30 pm OBX vs. Dare County

7:30 pm Cape Hatteras vs. Cashie (game at Field #2)

12U

5:30 pm Dare County vs. Cashie

7:30 pm OBX vs. Dare / Cashie winner

15U

5:30 pm Pocosin vs. Cashie

7:30 pm Edenton vs. Pocosin / Cashie winner

All 8U, 10U and 12U games are being played at the Ahoskie Creek ballparks, located on West Memorial Drive. Follow the signs for parking.

The 15U portion of the District tournament is being held at the Hertford County High School baseball field.

Concessions will be offered for purchase throughout the tournament.
