AHOSKIE – Trillium will host a Re-entry Simulation from 8:30 a.m. until 12 noon on Tuesday, Aug. 20 in the gym at Roanoke-Chowan Community College.

The event, which is offered free and open to the public, will provide a hands-on experience of the barriers for individuals released from incarceration, including those with severe substance use, mental illness, and intellectual /developmental disabilities. Through volunteers and role-playing, attendees experience situations trying to access services and resources that are often challenging and difficult to navigate.
