PENDLETON, NC – Bertha Davis Taylor 91, of Pendleton passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024.

She was born in Jackson on March 15, 1933 to the late Floyd Mason Davis and Maggie Louise Parks Davis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Travis Jackson Taylor. She was a lifetime active member of Galatia Baptist church

She is survived by her children, Floyd Taylor and his wife, Mona of Seaboard, Berta Hines and her husband, Richard of Pendleton, Charles Taylor of Pendleton, and Beth Duhadaway of Seaboard; nine grandchildren, Kameron Labate and her husband, Michael, Kristin Herrold and her husband, Gabe, Ronnie Taylor, Kevin Taylor and his wife, Summer, Allen Taylor and his wife, Mindy, Lucus Taylor and Mandy, Sydney Sloan and her husband, Ben, Eliza Harrell and her husband, Brandon, and Emma Collins and her husband, Tim; 16 great grandchildren, Connor and Giada Labate, Matthew, Jessica and Caleb Herrold, Madelyn Taylor, Nash Taylor, Twyla and Della Taylor, Sophie Sloan, Mason and Davis Harrell, Aydelynn, Seamus, Rowland and Olivia Collins.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services -Jackson Chapel.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Galatia Baptist Church with Rev. David Foster and Rev. Michael Labate officiating. Interment will follow in the Conway Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Dorothy Taylor, Stella Powell and Mary Williams for their loving care of Mrs. Taylor.
