AHOSKIE – The Gallery Theatre and LimeLight Theater will offer auditions for their holiday musical, Elf!

Auditions will be held at the Gallery Theatre, located on Main Street in downtown Ahoskie, from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 14-15.

Officials at the Gallery and LimeLight theatres say they are looking for performers of all ages and ethnicities.

Those interested only have to come to one of the audition sessions and be prepared to stay for 30 minutes to one hour. It would be great if you could prepare a one-minute solo from any genre of music. An accompanist will not be provided so try to have the karaoke track downloaded on your phone or you can sing acapella.

Officials will also have the performers to read various selections from the musical as part of the audition.

The show dates will be December 20 and 21 with rehearsals mainly on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
