AHOSKIE – Basketball season is just around the corner.

With that in mind, registration is now open for the 2024-2025 season within the Ahoskie Youth Basketball League. The league is open to those ages 5-to-15.

The registration fee is $35 per player. Registration forms can be filled out and the fee paid at the Ahoskie Town Hall, located on Main Street. Registration ends Nov. 1.

The Ahoskie Recreation Department has scheduled youth basketball clinics on the following dates and times:

5-6 year-olds (boys and girls) at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11

9-10 year-olds (boys and girls) at 6:15 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11

11-12 year-olds (boys and girls) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12

7-8 year-olds (boys and girls) at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14

13-15 year-olds (boys and girls) at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14.

Please note that the clinic dates and times may change once a total number of participants (and their ages) is determined by the registration process.

All practices and games will be held at the Town of Ahoskie Gym, located on West Main Street across from the Kiwanis Club Building and the Ahoskie Rural Fire Department.
