She spent her final days at Accordius Health of Creekside Care in Ahoskie, NC with her loving and caring brother constantly by her side, reminding her that he would not leave her until she had crossed over into heaven.
Cheryl was born in Ahoskie, NC to William Nello Rawls and Myrtle Lane Rawls August 5, 1954, the oldest of three children. She was predeceased by her parents, her brother, Richard (Ricky) Lane Rawls and sister-in-law, Elizabeth (Libby) Futrell Rawls.
Cheryl attended Ahoskie High School. She was employed at Perdue Farms, Inc. in Lewiston, NC for 31 years. Cheryl had a deep passion for the outdoors. She found great joy and satisfaction in her yard work. She loved being outside taking care of her yard and took great pride in taking care of the Rawls Family Cemetery.
Family was very important to Cheryl. She loved and cherished her family and enjoyed spending time with each one of them. She also enjoyed reminiscing the beautiful, safe and carefree childhood memories of living on the Rawls family farm with a few of her cousins who lived on the farm as well.
