MURFREESBORO – Ridgecroft School swept all six singles matches and the three doubles matches in a 9-0 win vs. Pungo Christian Academy here Oct. 2 at the Rose Family Tennis Complex on the campus of Chowan University.

The following are the results of the singles matches:

#1 Annie Batts defeated Juliette Pence, 8-2;

#2 Callie Liverman defeated Sayla Brown, 8-2;

#3 Mollie Brown defeated Lilly Prince, 8-1;

#4 Avery Byrum defeated Bailey Hodges, 8-4;

#5 Emma Castelloe defeated Maggie Ballance, 8-4;

#6 Victoria Revelle defeated Emily Copes, 8-1.

The following are the results of the doubles matches:

#1 Batts/Liverman defeated Pence/Prince, 8-4;

#2 Brown/Byrum defeated Brown/Hodges, 8-3;

#3 Castelloe/Revelle defeated Ballance/Copes, 8-2.

With the win, Ridgecroft improved to 5-3 overall and 4-2 in conference play.
