GREENVILLE – Media outlets are reporting that a shooting here Sunday night claimed the life of a Windsor man.

According to WITN-TV 7’s website, 47-year-old Demetrius Pugh was shot at a Greenville convenience store. He died at ECU Health Medical Center.

Greenville Police say the shooting occurred just prior to 9 p.m. at the Sheetz on Moye Boulevard, which is across from the hospital.

Police added that the shooting was the result of an ongoing dispute between two people and that everyone involved has been identified.

The Pitt County District Attorney’s office will meet with police detectives regarding possible charges in the case.
