Arline named Assistant Principal at Hertford County Middle School

WINTON – The Hertford County Board of Education announces the appointment of Gary Arline as Assistant Principal at Hertford County Middle School.
With over 10 years of experience in education, Arline brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role.
Arline’s commitment to fostering an engaging, safe, and productive learning environment is unwavering, according to HCPS officials.
“He is dedicated to creating a space where students can mentally, emotionally, and socially thrive. His belief in supporting student growth and encouraging faculty and staff to advance professionally is a cornerstone of his leadership. His vision for Hertford County Middle School is to build a community of learning that nurtures academic achievement, personal development, and strong relationships between students, faculty, and the broader community,” the HCPS School Board noted in a press release.
A native of Gates County and a 2004 graduate of Gates County High School, Arline holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education & Health with a minor in Science from Elizabeth City State University (2010). He furthered his education by earning a Master’s degree in Education Management from Strayer University (2015) and a Master’s degree in School Administration & Supervision PK-12 from Gardner-Webb University (2021).
