NCSO seeks info on cold case

JACKSON – Twelve years have passed without knowing who took the life of a young woman from Pleasant Hill.

Crystal Bell was murdered on June 24, 2012.

The Northampton County Sheriff’s Office asks the public to help them solve the murder of 29-year-old Crystal Bell.

On June 24, 2012, the Northampton Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle fire at a residence off of Macon Price Road in Pleasant Hill. Upon arrival and investigation, officers discovered Bell deceased from apparent gunshot wounds to the upper body.

During the course of the homicide investigation, no direct evidence has been developed to bring the person or persons responsible for the death of Bell to justice.

“We are asking for the public’s help to bring closure to her family,” the Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

There is a $5,000 governor’s reward for anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this homicide case.
