WINDSOR – The death of a two-year-old child has prompted an investigation by the Bertie County Sheriff’s Office.

Limited information is being shared at this stage of the investigation. The BCSO Facebook page cited that the initial report was made yesterday (Thursday). The child was found to be unresponsive and died.
