Lee Watford Jr., 68, of Cofield died Thursday, July 23, 2009 at his residence.
A was a native of Bertie County.
Survivors include his wife, Elouise Watford of Cofield; two sons, Elouis Watford of Chesapeake, Va. and Orlando Watford of Durham; a daughter, Kia Eason of Durham; three brothers, Robert Watford of Mooretown, Albert Watford of Powellsville and Rudolph Watford; sisters, Betty Jean Winston of Mooretown, Alice Watford of Hampton, VA, Agnes Askew of Colerain and Fannie Mae Watford, Evie Collins, Bessie Mae Watford and Louise White, all of Baltilmore, MD; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, July 28 at New Holley Grove Baptist Church, Colerain, with the Rev. Alton Bazemore officiating. Burial will be in Hill Crest Cemetery.
Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, are in charge of the arrangements.
