Mildred Everitt

Mildred E. Hare Everitt died Sunday, March 1, 2009 at the home of her son, 404 Main Street, Gatesville.
A former resident of Clearwater, FL, she had relocated to Gatesville after retiring from Honeywell’s Industrial Engineering Department and Pinellas County Schools. She was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church and the Palm Harbor Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth Higgins of Faber, VA and Linda Everitt of Halifax; her son, Thomas Everitt of Gatesville; her sister, Evelyn Van Brunt of Tallahassee, FL; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was conducted on Tuesday, March 3 in Eure Christian Church by the Rev. Michael Brinkley. Interment will follow at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Sneads, FL at a later date.
Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, is assisting the family with arrangements.
