Hilda Burkette Blowe Griffith, 88, formerly of Rich Square, died Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at Albemarle Hospital, Elizabeth City.
She was a seamstress and worked at Mylecraft in Rich Square for many years.
She was a member of Rich Square Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, William Robert Blowe III of Colonial Heights, VA; a sister, Lorna Bryant of Franklin, VA; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 12 at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Rich Square, with the Rev. Bob Rogers officiating.
