Cecil McCoy Fleetwood Jr., 68, of Winton died Sunday, November 2, 2008 at Halifax Regional Medical Center, Roanoke Rapids.
Fleetwood was a native of Bertie County.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Fleetwood of Winton; two sons, Cecil Fleetwood Jr. of Winton and Travis Tyler of Murfreesboro; three daughters, Renee Fleetwood Tann of Winton and Joyce Fleetwood Wiggins and Amy Tyler Tann, both of Murfreesboro; two brothers, Curtis Vaughan and Randolph Fleetwood, both of Baltimore Md.; one sister, Eulalah Fleetwood of Murfreesboro; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
There will be a wake from 6-7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6 at Hertford County Undertakers, Winton.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 7 at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, Como, with Rev. Elliot Hill officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
