Ira Glenn Cutrell Sr., 83, a native of Pattillo, SC, died September 13, 2008 at Bertie Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cashie Baptist Church by the Rev. Reese Blanchett. Walker Funeral Home, Windsor, is in charge. Cutrell retired as President of First Union National Bank in Windsor. He was a former member of the JC’s, the Rotary Club and the Veterans Club. HE was past chairman of the Bertie County Red Cross and past president of the Windsor Little League. He also served in the Army Air Corp during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Jessie Doughtie Cutrell of Windsor; two daughters, Glenda Wheeless of Whitakers and Carol Strother of Oxford; and three sons, Glenn Cutrell Jr. of Greenville, Donald Cutrell of Mobil, AL and George Cutrell of Herndon, Va.
