AHOSKIE – Willie M. Downey, 93, of Ahoskie died Friday, December 28, 2012 at Vidant Roanoke Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m.  on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at the chapel of Hunter’s Funeral Home, Ahoskie, who is handling the arrangements. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Ahoskie.
