Lou Ella Keeter Hoggard Williams

AHOSKIE – Mrs. Lou Ella Keeter Hoggard Williams, age 87, died at the Guardian Care Nursing Home in Ahoskie on Saturday, November 13, 2010.
She is a native of Halifax County and was married to Delbert Earl Hoggard whom died in 1965. She later made her home in Ahoskie and was married to the late James Watson Williams.
Mrs. Williams was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a homemaker all her life, raising children and taking care of the home. She enjoyed attending Millennium Pentecostal Holiness Church in Aulander. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Preceding her in death, other than her husbands, are one daughter, Judy Ellen; two sisters, Daisy Price and Sudie Moore; and four brothers, Jake, Bud, Ray and Redmond Keeter.
Survivors include four daughters, Elizabeth Ann Paramore of Scotland Neck, Patricia Faye Carmichael of Burlington, Delores Brown and her husband, Jimmy, of Ahoskie and Debra Staton and her husband, David, of Roxboro; and five sons, Redmond Earl Hoggard and his wife, Pam, of Tarboro, Delbert Earl Hoggard Jr. and his wife, Brenda, of Evans, GA, Charles Wayne Hoggard and his wife, Sarah, of Fayetteville, Ricky Hoggard and his wife, Terry, of Burlington and Danny Hoggard and his wife, Carolyn, of Danville, VA. Also surviving are twenty-eight grandchildren a host of great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 17th at 2 p.m. at the Millennium Pentecostal Holiness Church in Aulander with the Rev. Taylor Latham officiating. The interment will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery in Scotland Neck.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at the Millennium Pentecostal Holiness Church.
