AHOSKIE — Opening round action of the annual Roanoke-Chowan News-Herald Holiday Classic, sponsored by United Country Joe Murray Realty, has been postponed until Wednesday due to the winter weather.

Wednesday’s schedule is as follows:

5 p.m. (Girls) Bertie vs. NCHS-East

6:30 p.m. (Girls) Hertford Co. vs. Gates County

8 p.m. (Boys) Hertford County vs. Gates County

Thursday, Dec. 30

6 p.m. – Girls Consolation Game

7:30 p.m. – (Boys) Bertie vs. NCHS-East

Friday, Dec. 31

5 p.m. – Boys Consolation game

6:30 p.m. – Girls Championship

8 p.m. – Boys Championship

All games will be played at the Hertford County High School gym.
