AHOSKIE – The Hertford County Public Health Authority’s Clinic and Home Health buildings have suffered some water damage due to flooding caused by Hurricane Matthew.
HCPHA officials are advising that the clinic and home health services will be temporally relocated to 714 Evans Street Ahoskie, which is located directly behind the clinic and home health building.
The agency’s Medical Mobile Unit will be available to accommodate limited clinical services, so please call 332-6650 to see what clinical services will be offered at this time.
Ramona Bowser, Health Director stated, “I would like to assure the citizens of Hertford County that we are doing all we can to address the flooding issues in our buildings and working swiftly to be back in full operations in a timely manner.”
All other health department services such as WIC, Chronic Disease, Outreach and Environmental Health (located in Winton) are in normal operations.
