Mr. and Mrs. Billy R. Dunlow of Windsor announce the engagement of their daughter, Gretchen Ree Dunlow, to Jeremy Varner Reid, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Reid of Kernersville. Gretchen is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orval Williams of Edenton and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Dunlow of Windsor. She is a graduate of Bertie High School and NC State University where she received a BS in Biology with a minor in Biotechnology. She is employed as a research scientist with Syngenta in Durham. Jeremy is a graduate of Kernersville Glenn High School and UNC-Greensboro where he received a BA in History and Social Studies and minors in Anthropology and Classical Civilizations. He is a Senior Trooper and Field Training Officer with the NC State Highway Patrol’s Troop A, District II office. A wedding is planned for Nov. 19 in Edenton.
