Daye received a total bond of $70,300 with several pending court dates in Northampton, Harnett and Hertford counties.

“I complement Captain Patrick Jacobs for his hard work and good investigation to secure the warrants on Mr. Daye for the felony charges listed above. We had been searching for Mr. Daye for almost a year for previous outstanding warrants,” said Northampton County Sheriff Jack Smith.

Ramsey also had additional warrants for resisting a public officer, felony possession of cocaine, felony possession of marijuana, possession with intent to manufacture sell and deliver marijuana, possession of cocaine to manufacture sell and deliver, possession drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a vehicle / dwelling place with controlled substance. Upon investigation by the deputies, Ramsey was found in possession of cocaine and marijuana.

Ramsey received a total bond of $40,300 and was scheduled to make his first court appearance on Thursday.

“I want to first commend the Northampton County Sheriff’s Office and the Down East Task Force members,” said Sheriff Smith. “I would like to compliment these officers for their extra hard work for locating these people we been looking for several months. I would like to commend them for the professionalism for the way they carried out this roundup and because of this they were able to have a successful day without any types of issues arresting these people.
