“The purpose of the Family Community Resource Fair was to connect our parents and families with stakeholders and many of the untapped resources in our community,” said West Bertie School Counselor Angela Rowe. “Local community organizations had the opportunity to share information with our parents about their programs, and our parents learned about available resources in our community to help improve their family’s quality of life.”

Participating organizations included the Windsor-Bertie YMCA, ARHS Triple-P Parenting, CADA, Bertie Co. NCWORKS, Bertie County DSS, Integrated Family Services, NCSECU, Bertie County WIC, and the local NC Cooperative Extension Service.
