VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA – William Jeffrey Revelle departed this life in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada after a lengthy illness.

Born May 30,1953 to the late William and Louise Revelle of Ahoskie, NC, he joined the Elm Grove Missionary Baptist Church at a young age. After graduating from Ahoskie High School, William entered Shaw University with a desire to join the ministry. After being licensed as a minister at Elm Grove Missionary Baptist Church, William continued study in Theology at Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, OK. His travels after college led him to Vancouver, Canada where he served his Lord by spreading the gospel.

He is survived by brothers, Robert Revelle (Linda) of Trenton, New Jersey, and Larry Revelle (Bernice) of Durham, North Carolina; and a sister, Iris Smith (Carl) of East Orange, New Jersey.

William was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Revelle; and a half-sister, Charlotte Whitaker.

Memorial services to celebrate William’s life will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel, Ahoskie, N.C. The Rev. Dr. Quin Rawls, Pastor, Elm Grove Missionary Baptist Church, will officiate the service.
