Effective at 5 p.m., Tuesday, September 11, Chowan University classes are canceled until further notice.

All Chowan University staff will report to work on Wednesday, September 12. A decision regarding Thursday and Friday will be made at a later time.

Additional information for the evacuation of students is forthcoming. Students should monitor their emails.

The University will continue monitoring Hurricane Florence and will share updates regarding the reopening of the campus and the resumption of classes as they develop. Students may check updates via Chowan email, the CUHawkAlert System, and the University website.
