WINDSOR – The two men wanted in a deadly shooting at a high school graduation party on Saturday night are in custody.
David Demery, 36, of Lewiston, and Larry Bridgett, 26 of Kelford, were arrested shortly before 9 a.m. today (Wednesday) at a residence located on Ted Cherry Lane in Kelford.
Demery, believed to be the trigger man in the shooting, was arrested on an open count of murder. Bridgett allegedly drove Demery away from the crime scene and now stands charged with being an accessory after the fact.
They are now behind bars in the murder of 26-year-old Jamie White of Windsor. He died at the scene.
The shooting occurred around 8 p.m. at a party that was conducted in celebration of the high school’s graduation ceremony held earlier on Saturday. That party was held at a residence located on US 13/17 south of Windsor.
Apparently, a fight broke out that escalated into deadly gun violence.
