JACKSON – Hazel Lassiter Purnell, 72, of Jackson died Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Vidant North Hospital, Roanoke Rapids. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at T.L. Faison’s Funeral Care, Seaboard, which is handling the arrangements. Burial will follow at Shearin Chapel Baptist Church, Roanoke Rapids.
