Hertford County Public Schools is aware of the forecast predicting winter weather and the district is carefully monitoring the situation.

On Friday, January 21, Hertford County Public Schools will have a Remote Learning Day for all staff and students due to predicted inclement weather. Students should follow all expectations for attendance and assignments as provided by their school.

All school buildings and offices will be closed.

HCPS will operate on a regular schedule on Thursday, January 20. Should Thursday schedule changes become necessary, HCPS officials will notify families and staff as soon as possible through usual communication channels.
