WINDSOR – Timothy Bazemore, Sr., 99, of Windsor, North Carolina went to heaven on August 21, 2022. He was born April 23, 1923, in Windsor, NC to the late Henry Norman Bazemore and Arie Williams Bazemore.

He graduated from W.S. Creecy High School in Rich Square, NC.

Mr. Bazemore was many things to many people including entrepreneur, farmer, self-employed, and a relocation specialist.

He was loved in the local community and throughout the state.

He was predeceased by his wife, Hannah Bond Bazemore.

He leaves to cherish his memory, daughters, Rita Taylor, Evelyn McCoy (Willie), Ernestine Byrd, and Vivian Clark; and sons, Timothy Bazemore, Jr. (Naomi), Jeremiah Bazemore (Karon), Gary Bazemore, Darryl Bazemore, and Demetrius Garrett (Bonita).

A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Indian Woods Missionary Baptist Church, 2330 Indian Woods Road, Windsor, NC 27983. Interment in Bazemore Family Cemetery, Cedar Landing Road, Windsor, NC.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022, from 5-7 p.m. at Wilder’s Chapel of Windsor, 222 S. Granville Street, Windsor, NC 27983.
