WINTON – Vernon W. Peele, 69, of Winton died Friday, May 13, 2011 at Down East Health & Rehab Center, Gatesville. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Berean Bible Baptist Church, Ahoskie. Burial was in the church cemetery. Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, handled the arrangements.
