MURFREESBORO – The Chowan men’s soccer team continued their dominance against Lees-McRae in a 1-0 shutout victory against the Bobcats in Conference Carolinas action here Saturday.

Leke Ademola, scoring in the 64^th minute, tallied the only goal of the match. Charley Leech assisted on that goal.

Chase Jansen corralled three saves in the win.

Chowan improved to 6-0-3 in their last nine matches on the season.

Under Coach Chris Whalley, the Hawks are 8-0-1 against his former program since his arrival in Murfreesboro.

Chowan (6-3-4 overall and 6-1-2 in league play) continues their homestand to take on Mount Olive in a crucial East Divisional match-up. at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 25.
