MURFREESBORO – It’s all about to “protect and serve.”
Murfreesboro Police Officer McKinley Jordan saved a life last month when a patron of a restaurant in town was choking on an item lodged in their throat.
Jordan was recognized at Murfreesboro’s Town Council meeting held earlier this week for his lifesaving actions on Dec. 21 when he used the Heimlich Maneuver to dislodge the item.
Murfreesboro Police Chief David Griffith, who presented the Certificate of Appreciation, said “Officer Jordan not only saved a life but exemplified professionalism and heroism in the line of duty” and thanked Jordan for his quick-thinking actions that day.
