GATESVILLE – The FBI estimates that older adults are swindled out of more than $3 billion each year!

Join the Albemarle Commission Area Agency on Aging from 1-3 p.m. on Feb. 22 at the Merchant’s Mill Pond State Park Visitors Center to learn more about how you can protect yourself from fraud, exploitation, and scams.

Experts from the NC Department of Justice, NC Department of Insurance, and NC Secretary of State’s Office (pending) will be presenting on ways to protect yourself and your loved ones.

This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
