LEWISTON, NC – George Bernard Tabron Jr. passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024 at his home in Lewiston, NC. He was born on August 25, 1937 in Northampton County.

He is survived by his children, Clarise Tabron, and Sabrinia Dewight (Rahsshard) of New Jersey, Diane Jaichon (Owen) of Florida, George Tabron, and Linda Hardnett (Wendell) of North Carolina, and Mario Wright, Roderick Wright and Rashaun Wright of Georgia; sisters, Mary Lee Fisher, Lela Boone and Doris William of North Carolina; and one brother, Alton Fisher of North Carolina; along with a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 12 noon at Wilder’s Funeral Home Chapel in Rich Square, NC. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Rich Square, NC.

A walk thru viewing will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 4-6 p.m.
