LASKER – The Lasker Summer Music Festival will take place at Lasker Baptist Church from June 21-23.

The festival is a Christian retreat for classical musicians from around the country. While in Lasker, the musicians present free concerts (each beginning at 7:30 p.m.) for the public as follows:

Friday, June 21 – Paula Pressnell, a pianist, will be joined by popular local singers Lisa Lowry and Calvin Brown.

Saturday, June 22 – Richmond-based jazz pianist David Esleck will provide an evening of solo jazz.

Sunday, June 23 – Long-time festival participants Jeremy McEntire and Charles Hulin will perform imaginative works for flute and piano.
