JACKSON – It’s been nearly 13 and one-half years since Daniel McCoy Moses was last seen at his residence off of WJ Duke Service Road, located between Jackson and Rich Square.

On June 16, 2011, the Northampton County Sheriff’s Office responded to this residence for a structure fire where the home was completely destroyed.

Over the course of an extensive investigation on several occasions, to include large grid area searches by foot, helicopter, K-9, and water areas, no evidence or leads have been developed to locate Moses.

Moses is 6 ft. 3 inches tall and weighing 200 – 220 lbs. At the time of his disappearance, Moses was 60 years old.

The Northampton County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to bring closure to his family and helping to locate Moses.

Anyone that has any information or tips that will help in locating Moses can submit information anonymously on Northampton County Crime Stoppers website at http://www.northamptoncountycrimestoppers.org or contact Detective W. Brown at Northampton Co. Sheriff’s Office (252-534-2611).

There is a $15,000 reward for anyone with information that leads to locating Moses and/or leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for his disappearance.
