PENDLETON — The Northampton County Sheriff’s Office is on the look out for three suspects involved in a home invasion that left a young family shaken.

Northampton County Sheriff’s Chief Detective Capt. D.M. Harmon said the crime occurred Sunday night at 175 Watson Mill Road.

Harmon said at approximately 11:22 p.m. the NCSO received a call in reference to the home invasion. Upon their arrival, Deputies Jamie Perry and Mitchell Deloatch found the three residents of the home, a father, a mother and their small child.

Capt. Harmon was also summoned to the scene.

According to Harmon’s report, the family had been sleeping when they heard a loud bang at the front door. Three black males then entered the home and ordered the family to get down on the floor.

Two of the men were brandishing hand guns; one of them had a silver revolver.

Harmon said the female victim was ordered to hand her keys over to the three men. She was then escorted by gun-point out to her vehicle, where she retrieved her pocketbook.

Harmon said nothing was taken from the pocketbook, as there was not any cash in it.

Meanwhile, the male victim was searched and an undisclosed amount of cash was taken.

The victims’ two cell phones were also stolen.

“From that point the suspects left the residence on foot in an unknown direction,” said Harmon.

No injuries were reported.

Harmon said two of the three men are described as being approximately six feet in height and the other being approximately five foot, seven inches.

All of the men were wearing black hoods and black masks.

Though the descriptions of the suspects are vague, Harmon hopes the public will offer more information on this crime.
