AULANDER – Dale Allan Joy, 62, of 1016 NC Hwy 305 South, Aulander, died Saturday, July 30, 2011 in University Health Systems Inpatient Hospice, Greenville. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, who is handling the arrangements. Burial with military honors will follow at 3 p.m. in the Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, VA.
