AHOSKIE – The  sixth annual Ridgecroft Soccer Tournament will kick off Friday afternoon.

The Rams’ varsity boy’s club will welcome Gaston Prep, Cape Fear Christian School and Trinity School of Durham for the championship tournament.

The event will kick off at 3 p.m. Friday when the home-standing Rams host Gaston Prep.

The Rams return several players from last year’s 20-2 club, but also graduated several All-State performers. They won their first outing (3-2) Tuesday afternoon at Northeastern High School.

The second game will feature Cape Fear Christian against Trinity of Durham. First kick for that contest is scheduled for 5 p.m.

The annual event will continue on Saturday when the Consolation Game is scheduled for 11 a.m.

The championship contest will follow at 1 p.m.

All games will be played on the Mike Bryant Soccer Field on the campus of Ridgecroft School.
